Juanita shared powerful on-the-ground updates from the Rio Grande Valley on the family separation crisis, and she discussed how LUPE, a member of the Rio Grande Valley Equal Voice Network, is a leader in the legal battle to ensure a fair, accurate count for Census 2020.
Touching on DACA, Texas SB4, and other pressing issues, Juanita also discussed LUPE’s unique organizing model and its efforts to protect, engage, and empower community members in the colonias of South Texas.
